Shanda is to launch an online game, to be called Ghost Fighter, based on the online novel Gui Chui Deng from its CMFU.com literature site. The novel is also to be sold in print, with cartoon and movie versions in the works as well. At the recently concluded China International Internet Culture Exhibition, Shanda revealed a number of projects adapted from traditional Chinese works and its latest games, including Shu Mountain, Creation of the Gods and World Hegemony. These games have been developed by a Shanda-funded domestic firm.
