Guangdong Mobile Offers Easy Recharging Service

Yesterday, in collaboration with the China Construction Bank (CCB), Guangdong Mobile formally launched its "Easy Mobile Recharge" service, allowing mobile top-up via bank ATMs. After inputting their bankcard number and password from a Guangdong registered CCB account, users are taken to a menu where they can navigate to "other business" and then choose "recharge" to recharge the credit on their phone. Credit can be purchased in RMB 30, 50, 100, 300 and 500 amounts, and within several minutes of purchasing, the user will receive an SMS from China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) confirming that the purchase was successful.
