Chinese Skype Users Surpasses 51 mln

On November 16, the beginning of its third year in China, Skype China noted that as of the end of September 2007, the service had more than 51 million registered users. This figure makes China Skype's largest market by users worldwide as well as its most active regional market.
Reportedly, Skype's mainstream users consist primarily of white-collar business workers, scientific research and teaching staff, government agency staff, university students, and other mid-to high-end customers worldwide.
