Flat-Panel TV Sales to Reach RMB 140 bln

New data released by the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce and the Development Research Center of the State Council shows that domestic color TV sales will reach RMB 120 bln in 2007. Sales in 2008 are projected to reach RMB 180 bln, with flat-panel TV sales to exceed RMB 140 bln. In 2007, the share of the TV set market occupied by flat-panel TV sets has risen to nearly 70%, up from 10% in 2004.
