Rumor: 6Rooms, PPStream to Merge

According to an insider, online video site 6Rooms (6.cn) and P2P video site PPStream are to merge. Executives from the two parties have held two rounds of talks, with detailed discussions now underway. Both firms have recieved investment from Ceyuan Ventures.
Speaking to reporters yesterday afternoon, PPS Network TV president Xu Weifeng refused to comment but said that the two parties had cooperated often in the past and that the partnership would be further strengthened in the future.
