The investment is a strategic move on CDC's part, designed to expand the company's business scope and also help the company provide online mobile games for 3G networks. Over 60% of Japanese mobile subscribers use 3G handsets, and the Japanese 3G content market is expected to reach USD 1.2 bln by 2008.
