Starlott Acquires Lottery Software Developer

Lottery portal Starlott has announced its acquisition of lottery software developer 'Big Winner' (www.zcdyj.com) for nearly USD 8 mln in cash and shares. Starlott president Wang Xiwei expressed that the company is paying close attention as to whether or not the relevant ministries will issue licenses permitting online lottery sales.

Following the acquisition, Starlott is focusing on providing lottery information and using the Internet, mobile phones, wireless, video, and other communication channels to provide a complete range of services, including industry news, lottery information, analysis software, client software, and lottery communities.
