AirMedia Wins Operating Rights from Wuhan Tianhe Airport

Air travel advertising company AirMedia (Nasdaq: AMCN) has announced that it has obtained the contractual concession rights to operate 140 digital TV screens and 130 digital frames at the newly constructed Terminal 2 of Wuhan Tianhe Airport for 3 years. The deal increases the number of top 30 airports with which AirMedia has concession rights to 29.

In terms of passenger numbers, the Wuhan Tianhe Airport was rated the 12th largest airport in mainland China in 2007, handling 8.4 mln passengers. Wuhan Tianhe Airport has also been selected to become one of China's international hub airports.

The new terminal is scheduled to be opened in April 2008.
