Huawei, Giant Ally on Game Server Research

Chinese online game developer Giant Interactive (NYSE: GA) today announced a partnership with telecommunications equipment manufacturer Huawei to research server platforms for online games. Under the partnership, Huawei will provide hardware and software, while Giant will provide information on the online game industry to help with server operation and optimization.
The research partnership will help extend Giant's competitive strengths in terms of server technology, and also signifies the increasing presence of Huawei in the online game industry.
