MSN China Abandons Negotiations with The9

Tech.QQ.com, 4/07/08

A source has revealed that talks between The9 (Nasdaq: NCTY) and MSN China on stock purchases have broken down. The reason, according to the source, was that Microsoft believed that The9 was underreporting its stock prices, and that the company failed to maintain secrecy during the talks.

The9 spokesperson Zhao Yurun said that the company would not make any comment on any matters related to The9 and MSN.
