Shen Haoyu, vice president of business operations for Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has stated that Baidu is currently trying out a range of new Baidu Union products, and this year the company will focus significant energy on its Baidu TV product. Just like regular TV advertising, advertisements on Baidu TV will be video ads, however they can also be context or website dependent. Previously Baidu advertising focused mainly on text and links, however this year it plans to gradually introduce several visual advertising products.
