The9, T3 Establish Joint Venture

Chinese online game developer and operator The9 (Nasdaq: NCTY) has established a joint venture with Korean game developer T3. Chairman and CEO of The9, Zhu Jun, stated that the cooperation with T3 would benefit both parties with regards to the development and operation of the casual game Audition 2, as well as other games in the Audition series. In addition to supporting the development of the Audition series, the new joint venture also plans to develop games for the international market.

Vice president of 9You, Wu Jun, said the new venture will not impact his company's operating rights for T3-developed Audition, the contract for which extends to 2010.
