Rumor: Feedsky Looking for Funding

Industry insiders are circulating rumors that RSS company FeedSky is in secret talks with several firms as it seeks a sale or investment. FeedSky CEO Lu Xinxin has denied this rumour, and claims the company has no plans for sale or financing at the present.

Not long ago, FeedSky tested the waters of integrated blog marketing. The company approached several advertising companies including Ogilvy, Shunya Communications Group, and Focus Media subsidiary Beijing WonderAd. A knowledgeable source claims that the company is currently in acquisition talks with an advertising firm.

Feedsky's business model involves inserting advertisements in user feeds, selling keyword advertisements and blog sales.
