Ctrip, Sichuan Government, Sichuan Airlines Form Partnership

The Sichuan Travel Bureau has announced it has formed a strategic partnership with Chinese online travel provider Ctrip (Nasdaq: CTRP) and Sichuan Airlines, to promote tourism in Sichuan. The three parties will consolidate information regarding plane tickets, restaurants and scenic locations and Ctrip will run a large-scale promotion on a series of Sichuan tours. Senior VP for Ctrip, Yang Tao, revealed that price of these tours would be 10%-30% cheaper than the usual market price.
