Cisco Wins Trademark Infringement Suit

In March this year, networking equipment manufacturer Cisco sued a Shenzhen-based company and its legal representative, claiming they were selling routers, switches and other products that used Cisco's registered trademarks and other representations similar to its trademarks.

The Shenzhen Futian District People's Court which was hearing the lawsuit, ordered the defendants to pay Cisco a total of RMB 200,000 for trademark infringement. Initially, Cisco was seeking RMB 500,000 in compensation.
