Alcatel-Lucent, Datang Mobile Partner on TD-SCDMA

Telecom equipment manufacturer Alcatel-Shanghai Bell (ASB), a subsidiary of Alcatel-Lucent, has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with TD-SCDMA solution provider Datang Mobile. Under the cooperation, the two companies will work to spread the deployment of TD-SCDMA systems in China and overseas, developing a strategy to create the resources and manufacturing infrastructure to support future demand for TD-SCDMA technology. They will also share information on manufacturing, testing and quality control. In addition, Datang Mobile will designate ASB as its preferred partner for TD-SCDMA market cooperation.
