Rumor: Shanda, Lenovo to Cooperate on EZ Pod Strategy

A source close to Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) said yesterday that the company is in the final stage of talks with Lenovo (0992.HK) to install Shanda's EZ Pod and other entertainment platforms on Lenovo PCs, and that the companies are now in the stage of selecting which PC models to use. Shanda has also discussed service partnerships with Lenovo, such as installing Shanda games on Lenovo servers, or embedding Lenovo advertisements into Shanda games.
