LG announced yesterday that it plans to double production capacity at its existing Guangzhou LCD display module plant to 20 mln units by the end of 2009.
The company is also currently constructing another 20 mln-unit plant at the same site, bringing total annual production capacity at its Guangzhou base to 40 mln units by the end of 2009.
