Tudou to Develop Original Content

CEO Gary Wang of video-sharing platform Tudou says that Tudou will work to develop truly original content in the future, with half of its future content investments to be used for acquiring redistribution rights, and the other half for creating original video content. Wang said that Tudou would not go looking for professional video production teams, but would rather act as an online production company that would fund production of scripts.
