China Telecom (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) recently entrusted 21CN, a China Telecom wholly-owned subsidiary, with the responsibility of constructing its WAP portals for 22 provinces and municipalities in China, including Beijing, Tianjin, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang. 21CN was also given the responsibility to create China Telecom's 189 unified mailbox system.
