Tudou to Launch Copyright Verification System

Online video-sharing site Tudou is currently intensifying development of a copyright verification system that is undergoing testing and will likely be released after the Chinese New Year (holiday runs from January 25-31). Copyright holders can use the system to delete infringing material or share advertising profits with Tudou.
Tudou emphasized that only legitimate copyright owners will be able to use the system to identify illegal content, and responsibility lies solely with the copyright owner to do so.
