DCCI Releases Internet Usage Statistics

Figures from the Data Center of the Chinese Internet (DCCI) show that 26.8% of Chinese Internet users spend an average of 4-8 hours online every day, not including watching online video. According to the statistics, nearly 50% of users spend more than 4 hours online each working day, whereas 26.8% watch between 1 and 2 hours of television (via the TV, rather than Internet, network). Of the users who watch online video, 13.5% said they spend between 1 and 2 hours each day watching online films and videos, while less than 1 hour was spent consuming other forms of media including newspapers, magazines and radio.
