ISC Issues Report Card on Third-Round Clean-up

The Internet Society of China's China Internet Illegal Information Reporting Centre has issued results for the third-round of efforts to clean up "vulgar" online content.

The results found that online news portals Jinghua and Guangdong News, as well as mobile phone portal Cnmo, had implemented a comprehensive cleanup of vulgar content from their sites.

Social networking site (SNS) Xiaonei, online video site Qyule, BBS/portal KDnet, and e-book site "I Love E-Books" had made efforts to remove offending content, although some vulgar content still remained on parts of their sites.

Online portal Oeeee needed to step-up its cleanup efforts.
