Huawei to Provide Networking Equipment for 51.com

Social networking site 51.com has confirmed the signing of a cooperation agreement with telecom equipment provider Huawei. Under the terms of the agreement, Huawei will become 51.com's total solutions network equipment service provider. 51.com reportedly plans to invest more than RMB 100 mln to improve its networking infrastructure.
Huawei has been preparing community-related services over the past year, which sources suggest could be designed to meet community-related needs of telecom operators.
