Baidu Begins Campus Recruitment for E-Commerce Platform

According to its official website, Chinese online search firm Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has begun campus recruitment for its YouA e-commerce platform. The company is looking for staff to join its research and development team, its Baifubao online payment team, front-end development engineers and software testers. Baidu did not mention the scale of the recruitment drive, however in September 2008, the company announced that it intended to recruit 600 graduates in 2009 for positions across 11 departments. Baidu's YouA development team currently has over 150 staff.
