China Telecom Targets 35 Mln New CDMA Users in 2009

At today's China Telecom (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) Mobile Handset Industry Cooperation High-Level Forum in Beijing, the company's communist party secretary, Shang Bing, stated that China Telecom would aim to add 35 mln new CDMA users in 2009 and reach a total user base of approximately 100 mln users within three years time.
