CEC Partners with Shenzhen Government

Sina Tech, 2/20/09

The Shenzhen municipal government and China Electronics Corporation (CEC) signed a strategic partnership framework agreement today. Under the agreement, the Shenzhen government will actively support CEC in the development of the company's Shenzhen work unit, provide preferential policies and subsidies for CEC's major R&D and industrialization projects, and increase local financial and policy support. For government-invested or government-led informatization projects, preference will be given to brands from CEC's Shenzhen work unit, all other conditions being equal. CEC will give preferential consideration to Shenzhen when selecting bases for major electronics industrialization projects that it leads. CEC will guide and drive its subsidiary enterprises in jointly constructing new R&D centers, platforms, and organizations.
