Taobao Forbids Sale of 'Quack' Goods Exposed by CCTV

Chinese B2C and C2C e-commerce site Taobao has announced a total ban on the sale of two products exposed by CCTV on March 15 (World Consumer Rights Day) that are suspected of defrauding consumers. The products are pillows supposedly able to improve memory, and sneakers supposedly able to improve blood circulation.

Taobao refused to comment on additional reports from CCTV regarding the sale of personal information through Taobao.
