Rumor: Shanda to Cooperate with Linekong

An industry source has revealed that Chinese online game developers and operators Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) and Linekong plan to cooperate on game operation, and the both parties have essentially reached consensus on an agreement which will be announced shortly. The cooperation would be similar to recent partnerships between Shanda and other game operators including Kingsoft (3888.HK) and Shanghai Storm, in which both parties operate servers for a given game, and in turn Shanda provides billing and customer support services.
