51job, Recruit Terminate Business Alliance

Chinese online recruitment site 51job (Nasdaq: JOBS) and Japanese recruitment firm Recruit today announced that they have mutually agreed to terminate a business alliance agreement formed in April 2006. The business alliance was intended to provide a framework for exploring potential business collaborations between 51job and Recruit in China for an anticipated three-year period. As of December 31, 2008, Recruit owned approximately 22.3 mln common shares of 51job, representing 39.3% of fully diluted shares outstanding.
