TCL's LCD Sales Volume Reaches Parity with CRT

Bo Lianming, COO of Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer TCL Corporation (000100.SZ), has stated that unit sales volume for the company's LCD and CRT displays have reached a 1 to 1 ratio, and in terms of sales revenue, the ratio is 7 to 3, in favor of LCD displays. Bo stated that LCD television unit sales volume is expected to grow by between 40% and 50% in China during 2009, and that TCL had set its growth targets higher than this figure.
