Digital China to Undergo Restructuring

Chinese IT services and system integrations provider Digital China (0861.HK) announced today that it will split its Enterprise Client, SME, and Individual User divisions into six strategic divisions dealing with business clients, individual users, supply chain services, systems technology, software services, and integrated services.

The former enterprise-targeted IT Services division will be split into strategic divisions for Software Services and Integrated Services. The new Systems Technology strategic division will provide product support solutions and value-added services for enterprise-level clients. The former SME- and individual user-targeted volume sales division will be divided into strategic divisions dealing with business, consumer, and supply chain service operations.

Digital China says it will focus on eight service models: retail, sales, hardware installation, hardware infrastructure services, repair and maintenance, applications integration, applications development, and IT planning and workflow outsourcing.
