Kingsoft Internet Security, Qihoo 360 Ally on Sales Promotion

A source has stated that Kingsoft Internet Security and anti-malware firm Qihoo 360 have reached a cooperation that will see the two parties implement a revenue sharing bundling agreement. An announcement is expected to be made soon, with Qihoo to embed Kingsoft Internet Security into its products, allowing users to utilize the Kingsoft anti-virus software free for 6 months. After the free usage period expires, users will have the option to purchase a copy of the software and continue use, at which time Qihoo and Kingsoft will split any revenue obtained from the sale. Tu Jianlu, director of communications at Qihoo, did not directly deny the rumor.
