Gohigh IT to Open 100 New Stores in 2009

Chairman Liu Xuefeng Gohigh IT, a subsidiary of Gohigh Data Networks Technology (which, in turn, is a subsidiary of Datang), said today that that in 2009 the company plans to open 100 new stores in 2009, with another 135 new stores over the next tree years.
Gohigh IT was established March 7 this year with a focus on the IT product retail outlet business and a registered capital of RMB 30 mln; the stores currently focus on sales mainly of notebooks, desktops, and computer software. Its parent company, Gohigh Data Networks Technology, owns a 100% stake in GoHigh IT.
According to Liu, Gohigh IT has set up more than 40 stores through six subsidiaries in Xi'an, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Zhengzhou, Harbin, and Xiamen, with plans to set up more subsidiaries in Beijing, Shanghai, Hefei, Taiyuan, Chengdu, and Hohhot, among other places.
Liu said that Gohigh IT will coexist independently as a separate brand alongside Gohigh Data Networks Technology's other subsidiary, Heng Chang.
