A source close to maternity products B2C company Redbaby said the company has begun its fourth round of fundraising, which this time may reach approximately USD 70 mln. An anonymous executive said funding this time is largely for strategic investment.
Redbaby was set up in March 2004 and has had three previous rounds of funding in which it sold 30%, 10%, and 20% in equity and raised USD 2.5 mln, 3 mln and 25 mln respectively.
