Zhongyu Enters IT Products Retail Market

Guo Xiuhong, vice president of Chinese mobile phone retailer Zhongyu Group, has announced the company's entry into the IT products market, with a first group of 200 flagship stores already selling IT-related products including China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) G3 netbook computers, brand-name notebook computers, and digital cameras. Zhongyu may utilize the same marketing model it successfully used in the mobile phone industry to enter the IT field, namely large-scale customization, exclusive supplier contracts, and buyouts.
