Beijing Telecom to Launch Per-day Handset Data Package

Beijing Telecom said on July 6 that for the convenience of users who make occasional use of 3G handsets to go online, Beijing Telecom will release a per-day 3G mobile internet access plan on July 8, with 3 MB of data traffic per day for RMB 0.5; traffic exceeding 3 MB will be charged at RMB 0.005 / Kb. Users who sign up for the plan will be able to begin using it immediately, and subscriptions will be terminated immediately upon cancellation.
