China Shuts Down SNS Mafia-Themed Games

China's Ministry of Culture issued a formal notification requiring all local bureaus to investigate and shut down all illegal "Mafia"-themed online games. Chen Tong, director of the General Law Enforcement Office at the MoC's Department of Culture Markets, said that a number of games on different SNS platforms, including Guhuozai ("Young and Dangerous") on Xiaonei, Jianghu ("Underworld") on Mop, Ren Zai Jianghu ("In the Underworld") on Manyouwang, and Jiaofu ("Godfather") on Kaixin001.com will be ordered to shut down by relevant authorities.
