Hudong, Aibang Cooperate on Encyclopedia

Chinese wiki-based encyclopedia site Hudong.com and local search service provider Aibang have reached a partnership agreement to freely provide, in the first phase of their partnership, 3 mln "lifestyle vocabulary terms" to Aibang search users in the form of an "encyclopedia dictionary" product. Aibang has already begun indexing Hudong.com content for the dictionary.

Hudong.com currently hosts more than 3.37 bln characters across 3 mln pages generated by more than 1 mln contributing users. The encyclopedia site had previously partnered with Kingsoft's (3888.HK) iCiba dictionary, Lingoes Translator, Youdao.com and other websites. Aibang has 300 mln web users and 700 mln mobile users.
