Rumor: Shanda Purchases Simo

Chinese online game operator Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) is rumored to have completed acquisition of Chengdu-based gaming company Simo Technology. The rumors quote sources as saying the company sold for no less than RMB 140 mln; Shanda has not confirmed the rumor.

Editor's Note: In a telephone interview with Marbridge, a Shanda spokesperson confirmed that Shanda had completed the acquisition of Simo in July.
