Apple: Unicom iPhone Deal Not Exclusive

According to foreign media reports, Apple has said that the iPhone Mainland China sales deal signed with China Unicom (NYSE: CHU; 0762.HK; 600050.SH) is not exclusive.
Apple spokeswoman Natalie Harrison confirmed the news by email, but would not comment on whether Apple was in negotiations with other Chinese operators. China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) chairman Wang Jianzhou said recently that the company still intends to sell the iPhone.
