Coship Signs RMB 62 Mln Set-Top Box Contract

Shenzhen-based set-top box (STB) maker Coship (002052.SZ) announced on September 29 that it had recently signed an RMB 61.6 mln sales contract to provide DTV set-top boxes to Harbin Cable. The delivery date for the STBs will be determined once the contract takes effect; payment for the STBs will be remitted within 60 months after the STBs have been in actual use for two months. The deal accounts for approximately 2.93% of Coship's revenues for the last year.
The deal is intended to hasten completion of Harbin Cable's complete DTV transition efforts.
