Giant Interactive Developing Next-Gen Online Game

Sources inside Chinese online game developer and operator Giant Interactive (NYSE: GA) have confirmed that it has secretly begun research and development on a next generation of online game. The project, whose development will take three years, will be overseen by Giant's chairman and CEO Shi Yuzhu.
The sources say that the project will be based on allowing players to make up their own rules, and has already been in development for a year.
