Cultural E-commerce SNS Obtains VC Funding

According to industry sources, Chinese cultural industry B2B e-commerce site 1001 Nights has, after contact with several domestic venture capital firms, secured venture funding of RMB 15-25 mln. A company spokesperson will make an announcement concerning the investment soon, said the source.
Established in 2008, 1001 Nights provides B2B, SNS, and SaaS services, and has earned nearly RMB 1 mln in revenue. Nearly 50,000 projects have been started on the 1001 Nights platform, and more than 3,000 celebrities have signed up.
