Gehua Obtains VOD License

Beijing-based cable TV operator Gehua CATV (600037.SH) reported today that it had officially received a Class-A License for Video-on-Demand Services from the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT). The license covers a period of three years, and allows Gehua to provide real-time VOD and downloads over cable networks in the Beijing region. Content categories include news, movies, and soap operas.
