China Telecom, Blackberry Cooperation Nearing Closure

According to Li Tong, director of Research in Motion (RIM)'s China Region Marketing Department, the Canadian Blackberry smartphone manufacturer's talks with China Telecom (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) have reached their final stages, with exact details on their partnership to be released as early as the end of the year. Communications and mail services may be released next year.
