Rumor: Tencent Develops Children's SNS

An industry source has revealed that Shenzhen-based internet value-added services company Tencent (0700.HK) is secretly working on a children's SNS patterned on Disney's Club Penguin in the US. The report has not been confirmed.

The major SNS portals targeting children in China currently are former Tencent employee Benson Wang (Wang Haibing)'s 51Mole.com and former Taobao President Sun Tongyu's Hezi.com.
