Internet Society of China Publishes List of Vulgar Websites

The Internet Society of China has published a list of websites containing content that "violates public morality and harms China's youth." Beijing-based service providers listed included China Yahoo, online video broadcasting and advertising company VODone (0082.HK), web portal Qihoo, and online real estate site Soufun. Shanghai-based sites included PCHome and blog service provider BlogBus. These sites contained content which the Internet Society of China has deemed obscene or pornographic. Bookmarking services kxkxw.com and 678 Bookmarks were also cited as containing links to obscene material.
