Sina Releases Cloud Computing Developers Kit

Chinese internet company Sina (Nasdaq: SINA) recently released the Sina App Engine (SAE) (http://sae.sina.com.cn), a cloud computing product, which allows developers to build web applications using Sina's own SDK. The SAE is a key part of the cloud computing platform Sina has developed, with Sina providing bandwidth, servers, computing resources and support for applications using PHP 5.3.0, MySQL 5.0.86, Memcache, and Fetch URL. The service is currently in alpha, and is available only to developers invited to participate in the closed testing.
