Alipay to Release Android, Blackberry Mobile Clients

Chinese online payment platform Alipay has announced that it will release mobile payment client software for Android and Blackberry handsets by the end of this year. The client is already available for Symbian and Windows Mobile handsets, and an iPhone version was released on October 16.

Polo Shao, CEO of Chinese online payment platform Alipay, said that mobile payment is expected to account for 40% of the third-party payment market in the next three to five years.
